Vectorization — Why your logo should be in vector

The quality of your logo in vector format directly determines the quality of the final result — whether DTF printing, screen printing or embroidery. Here's why.

Vector vs Pixel: the fundamental difference

Pixel files (JPEG, PNG, GIF)

Compounds of pixels — small squares of color. Enlarge them and they become blurry. Too small and details are missing. The resolution is fixed.

Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF)

Compounds of mathematical curves. They resize without any loss of quality — from postage stamp to billboard, the line remains perfectly sharp.

Why it’s critical for printing

  • Screen printing — color separation films require perfectly sharp edges
  • Embroidery — digitizing is much more precise from a vector
  • DTF — sharp edges give a cleaner final result

How to get your logo in vector?

  • Your original designer usually has the source file in vector — ask them
  • We can vectorize your existing logo (paid service)
